Job Description

The Application Developer II position at Rutgers University involves providing analytical and programming support for various university administrative and academic offices. The role includes managing upgrades in the Oracle Student Financial Planning environment, assisting with administrative functions, training new users, defining development requirements, and coordinating new development requests.

Requirements

The minimum education and experience required for this position include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, five years of experience in web and database application development using Java, and three years of experience in ETL processes using PL/SQL. Candidates should have expertise in SQL database technologies (specifically Oracle), application programming interfaces, ETL tools, and reporting tools. Preferred qualifications include certification in OSFP/Oracle Cloud Admin, cloud application administration experience, strong data management abilities, and familiarity with Higher Education processes and systems.

This position is full-time with a flexible work arrangement option. It is unionized under HPAE, Local 5094, and offers comprehensive benefits. The annual salary range is $85,909 - $123,261. The position is located at the Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences campus in Somerset, NJ.
