Job Description

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Content Creator to join our team at Kelsey Mercer - a small woman-owned Christian business focusing on women’s self-improvement in the areas of Faith-Family-Fitness with a target audience of women between the ages of 25-45. As a Content Creator, you will be responsible for producing engaging and compelling content for our social media platforms with Kelsey, focusing heavily on Instagram. Your primary tasks will include creating video content, producing captivating reels, generating content ideas, implementing content strategies, and contributing to the growth of our social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality video content for Instagram, with an emphasis on creating reels that resonate with our target audience.
• Generate and pitch creative content ideas to showcase our Kelsey Mercer brand and services effectively.
• Develop and implement content strategies to increase engagement, reach, and visibility on social media platforms.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with the overall marketing and branding strategies.
• Stay updated on social media trends and algorithm changes to optimize content performance.
• Contribute to the growth of our social media platforms by engaging with the audience and fostering a sense of community.

Requirements

• Ability to make Kelsey Mercer a well-known personality to our target audience of active Christian women.
• Willingness to be on call to capture various business and home events.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your video content creation skills, particularly on Instagram.
• Proficiency in video editing and familiarity with relevant software and tools.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail when conceptualizing and executing content ideas.
• Understanding of social media analytics and the ability to interpret data to optimize content.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with the team.

Preferred Qualifications

• College or postgraduate student with a background in digital media, marketing, or a related field. However, candidates of all ages are welcome to apply.
• Passion for fitness, wellness, faith, and an understanding of the target audience’s interests and preferences.

• Pay: $21.89 - $26.36 per hour
