Job Description
KCBS/KCAL is seeking a creative Camera Technician with multitasking and storytelling abilities. The role involves working with News Reporters and Producers to shoot quality, compelling visual content. The ideal candidate should be proficient in shooting, lighting, and editing to bring stories to life, respond to breaking news, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an ENG photographer in a large market, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, in-depth knowledge of newsgathering technologies, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. They must also have a valid US driver’s license, be able to lift 50+ lbs of equipment, and be available for varying shifts, including weekends and long hours. Proficiency with streaming technologies and the ability to travel for assignments domestically and abroad are essential.
Additional Information
