Job Description

This is a temporary 2–3-month, part-time Assistant Designer position at Hybrid in Cypress, CA. As an Assistant Designer, you will provide support to the Design team by working on location 3 days a week from 8:30am-5:30pm. Your responsibilities will include setting up data in the PLM system, preparing art for printing, assisting in coding art and CAD revisions, supporting day-to-day projects, aiding in presentations, and drawing/sketching in Adobe Illustrator.

Requirements

• Previous experience on a Design team, specifically in girls/juniors/womens apparel
• 2 or 4-year college degree in Fashion Design, Merchandising, Textiles, Fine Art, or related field
• Portfolio Required
• Strong sense of color, style, and trend
• Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite
• Attention to detail and follow-up skills
• Knowledge of garment construction & fabric
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
