Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and creative individual to join our team as an Artist Assistant. In this hybrid role, you will provide comprehensive support to the artist, create content for digital platforms, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Event Support: Set up and breakdown artist’s booth at art shows, galleries, and events.
• Client Interaction: Engage with potential clients, answer inquiries, and collect contact information.
• Art Handling & Delivery: Transport artwork safely and maintain accurate records.
• Content Creation: Develop engaging content for social media platforms.
• Digital Support: Update artist’s website and digital files.
• Print Support: Design marketing materials.
• Administrative Support: Ensure organized record-keeping and handle inquiries.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Social Media or as an Administrative Assistant.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current trends.
• Experience creating high-quality visual content using editing software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
• Experience with website development tools like Wix.com or Shopify.com.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse audiences.

Additional Information:

• Pay: $20/hour starting salary with potential % commission.
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in La Jolla, CA 92037.
• Expected Hours: 10 – 20 per week.
