Job Description

The Web Application Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites and web applications, from layout to function, according to approved specifications. The primary responsibilities include collaborating with the team to develop functional web applications, writing efficient code using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, integrating data from back-end services, optimizing websites for speed and performance, troubleshooting and resolving issues, and staying updated with emerging web technologies.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have experience with PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, Linux, and Windows. They should have a good understanding of web development principles, database architecture, and experience in developing applications of at least intermediate complexity. Additionally, candidates should be able to learn new skills and adapt to project requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are also essential.

Additional Responsibilities

The role also includes IT support tasks such as managing the WordPress website, maximizing SEO, assisting staff with computer applications, organizing computer files, conducting data backups, and other computer-oriented duties. General office support duties include serving as a receptionist, customer service, handling office organization, and representing the camp at events.
