Job Description:

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Podcast Producer to oversee the production of our podcast from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audio production, a keen ear for quality, and a passion for storytelling. This position can be structured as either full-time or part-time, depending on the applicant’s experience and availability.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and refine podcast concepts, formats, and content strategies
• Plan and organize recording sessions, including scheduling guests and preparing scripts/outlines
• Record and manage podcast episodes, ensuring high-quality audio
• Edit and produce episodes, including cutting out mistakes, adding music, and ensuring consistent sound quality
• Manage content archives, show notes, and metadata for each episode
• Upload and distribute episodes to podcast platforms (e.g., Apple Podcasts, Spotify)
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the podcast and increase listenership
• Coordinate production schedules and manage project timelines
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth operation of recording equipment and software
• Maintain quality control and ensure the podcast aligns with our brand and vision

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a podcast producer or in a similar role
• Strong audio editing skills and proficiency with editing software (e.g., Audacity, Adobe Audition, Pro Tools)
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of podcast distribution platforms and SEO best practices
• Experience in marketing and audience growth strategies is a plus
