Job Description

As the Visual Communications Coordinator at Lincolnwood Public Library, you will lead the design efforts to create visually appealing materials for print and digital platforms. You will collaborate with the marketing team to ensure a consistent brand message and engage with patrons through compelling visual content.

Requirements

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, marketing, fine arts, or related field

Design Proficiency: Proven experience as a graphic designer with a diverse portfolio, proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and Canva

Creative Skills: Ability to create original artwork and illustrations using industry-standard graphics software, technical expertise in design final stages, experience in video production, editing, animation, and photography preferred

Customer Service: Strong customer service skills, friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable

Team Player: Collaborative, strong teamwork skills, ability to work closely with team members and other departments
