Job Description:
The Associate News Producer at KLFY will contribute story ideas, write stories, organize content for on-air and digital platforms, assist in the production of broadcasts or online publications, make editorial decisions, engage audiences across digital devices, and edit material appealing to target audiences. They will also research production topics using various sources.
Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Journalism, TV/Film, or equivalent
- Understanding of brand building directives
- Ability to interact well with various staff members
- Detail-oriented with excellent verbal, written, grammar, and analytical skills
- Strong news judgment and journalistic integrity
- Knowledge of media production, communication techniques, and ways to inform and entertain audiences
