Job Description

The Digital Content Producer at 13News Now is responsible for leading the newsroom’s digital content and audience engagement activities. They keep track of multiple information streams to deliver important stories to the audience through digital, social media, and streaming platforms. This role involves creating, editing, and managing digital content, as well as coordinating with team members and sources.

Requirements

To qualify for the role, candidates need a BA/BS in journalism or a related field, along with professional news writing experience. Strong organizational skills, knowledge of AP style, and the ability to work quickly under pressure are essential. Experience with CMS, social media platforms, and SEO strategies is preferred. Candidates must also have a solid understanding of journalism principles and news writing fundamentals.
