Job Description
The University of Nevada, Reno Extension Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and Pesticide Safety Education Program is seeking a part-time, temporary candidate to assist with social media, video, and website content development for the grant-funded IPM in Communities project. The position will report to the Urban IPM and Pesticide Safety Education Program Coordinator.
Requirements
- Candidate must have a high school diploma
- Excellent written, graphic, and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of horticultural and integrated pest management principles
- Experience in developing social media posts and graphics
- Familiarity with social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
Schedule
Expected hours to work per week: 20+
Compensation Grade
Temporary Hourly Education: $25.00/hr
