Job Description
The Freelance Art Handler Specialist at Crozier Fine Arts plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and integrity of artworks during transportation and installation. This position involves handling, moving, wrapping, packing, and crating art objects, as well as leading project teams and providing guidance to clients and company managers. Responsibilities also include planning and organizing truck logistics, conducting inspection reports, and determining project strategies.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should possess a clean personal and employment history, with experience in handling art being desirable but not mandatory as training will be provided. Physical requirements include being able to carry out repetitive tasks, stand, bend, kneel, crouch, and lift various objects of different weights. Additionally, effective communication skills, attention to detail, discretion, self-motivation, and a valid driver’s license with willingness to travel on-site are required. Flexibility in working hours based on project needs is also key.
