Job Description

- Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design, develop, and maintain high-quality course materials and curricula that meet quality standards like Quality Matters.

- Review existing course materials and identify areas for pedagogical improvement for fully online delivery.

- Assist SMEs in creating courses that are consistent with the client’s standards and branding.

- Conceptualize, design, and create engaging storyboards for video lessons.

- Conduct 15-20 meetings per week with SMEs.

- Conceptualize learning scenarios and enhance content by coordinating with the creative team to select stock and custom graphics.

- Serve as a liaison between the creative team and instructional design team to ensure alignment and collaboration.

- Manage a team of Instructional Designers, providing mentorship and guidance.

- Conduct onboarding & training for new instructional design team members.

- Create high-quality Course Maps, Module documents.

- Able to create visually pleasing content in LMS.

- Assist with planning and creating PowerPoint presentations with voiceovers, video lessons, and collaboration tools.

- Create high-quality documentation such as workflows, meeting minutes, job aids, faculty guides, and instructional videos.

- Manage multiple projects and SMEs simultaneously.

- Ensure courses are WCAG 2.0 AA and Section 508 compliant.

- Provide copyediting and quality assurance for course content in Word and the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure integrity and accessibility.

Requirements

- Experience in learning design: 3 years (Required).

- Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year.
