Contract: Part-time

Job Description

Annual Reviews is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Front-End Web Developer to work 8-10 hours per week to provide support, maintenance, and consultation for Charleston Hub websites, web apps, and platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing web applications and user interfaces.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing new user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
  • Troubleshooting and debugging web applications
  • Implementing responsive design principles to ensure cross-platform compatibility

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Front End Web Developer or similar role
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Experience using and strong proficiency in WordPress
  • Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and related frameworks
  • Experience with responsive design techniques
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field preferred
