Job Description

We are looking to widen our base of contractors in the area and working this event could lead to further opportunities for future event assignments in the area. We are seeking videographers for an upcoming showcase tournament in Chesapeake, VA. The event runs from September 27-30, 2024, with game times varying from starting as early as 7am to 9pm.

Chilled Ponds - 1416 Stephanie Way, Chesapeake, VA 23320

Rate of Pay: $240/day

You will be responsible for:

Providing quality filming of hockey games that are streamed LIVE on FloSports. You will be required to be set up and ready to film at your location 60 minutes prior to game start time. You will work closely with the on-site engineer to ensure a high-quality broadcast. Some setup and breakdown of equipment may be required, including taping down cables for safety. All equipment must be kept in good working order and collaboration may be necessary to troubleshoot any issues that arise.

Requirements

Experience:

Experience playing hockey or knowledge of the sport is highly preferred. Video and audio production knowledge are a plus. You must have reliable transportation and the ability to work early mornings and late nights, as games start as early as 8am and end as late as 11pm. Please note that this position requires standing for extended periods of time in cold arenas.
