Job Description

Our client based in Scotland is looking for an experienced 3D Motion Designer to be an important part of the studio team in a hybrid setup. The ideal candidate will possess strong creative flair, technical ability, and a passion for visual storytelling. They should be capable of planning and executing projects from start to finish while communicating effectively throughout the process. A meticulous eye for detail, exceptional image composition skills, and deep knowledge of motion design concepts and principles are essential.

Requirements

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

• Strong lighting and texturing skills with a focus on photorealism.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to be a team player who can work independently or lead a team as required.
• Proactive self-starter with a passion for 3D.
• Strong knowledge of 3DS Max/Maya or C4D, Corona/VRay/Redshift, After Effects, and Photoshop.
• Knowledge or background in graphic design.
• Understanding of film language and shot selection.
• Knowledge of SideFX Houdini.
• Knowledge of Tyflow (if using 3DS Max).
