Job Description

The UX Designer, Digital Products & Customer Experience, on the Digital Products Solutions (DPS) team, collaboratively develops and executes on the product vision for the digitally connected experience for patients, caregivers, and providers across our innovative medicine portfolio. The designer will take a lead role on a critical workstream that will dramatically influence the overall experience. We are looking for a strong design sensibility, a hunger to explore and push the envelope visually, coupled with a knack for creating fluid, intuitive interactions. A desire to work at the interface between hardware and UI touchpoints is equally important to ensure success.

Responsibilities include UX design on a critical workstream partnering with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, generating low- and high-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes, participating in user studies, creating UI visual designs, and supporting design transfer to software. The designer will also partner with the experience design team on various design initiatives, explore onboarding and learning strategies to enhance user experiences, effectively communicate design ideas to stakeholders, and create production-ready assets for software implementation.

Requirements

Qualifications for this role include:

• A design degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience as a UX designer, interaction designer, UX architect, or similar.
• High level of proficiency with digital design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Principle, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.).
• Strong portfolio showcasing experience across all phases of product development, highlighting both process and design outputs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Information

This position is a contract role for a duration of 1 year+, with a hybrid work model requiring the candidate to be in the office once a week in Titusville, NJ or New Brunswick, NJ. Candidates must be local to the New York or New Jersey area and able to commute into the office. The pay rate is between $40.00 - $50.00 per hour and includes benefits such as 401(k), dental insurance, and health insurance.
