Job Description

We are on the lookout for a social media content editor to help create video content for IG, TikTok, and YouTube. The successful candidate will have experience in fast-paced short and medium-length content with a focus on quick turnarounds. Responsibilities include end-to-end editing in collaboration with our copywriter, using footage from phones and cameras, and editing on both phone apps and computer software.

This is a freelance role that can be performed remotely, requiring availability for 5-7 days a month with some flexibility for ad hoc bookings.

Responsibilities

Major Objectives:

• Drive brand awareness, engagement, and advocacy.
• Engage in real-time with our social media community (during live streams, etc).
• Develop new, creative, and highly engaging content to grow our social media audiences.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Create fun, interesting, and engaging video content relevant to our followers.
• Ensure that content aligns with brand aesthetics and identity.
• Stay updated with the latest social media trends (especially TikTok) and propose content editing ideas for these platforms.
• Provide weekly reports on engagement metrics.
