Job Description

We’re building a CapCut-native creative team to edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. This isn’t a traditional video editor role—no Adobe Premiere or Final Cut required. We’re looking for creators who live and breathe social content, know what’s trending this week, and are fluent in CapCut’s tools and workflows.

If you’ve ever edited content for a friend’s small business, side hustle, or podcast, grown an account with short-form video content, or helped brands or influencers create authentic, scroll-stopping clips, this role is for you.

Requirements

You’re a Fit If You:

• Are U.S.-based and available for consistent freelance work.
• Are deeply familiar with CapCut, TikTok editing styles, and vertical-first design.
• Have a portfolio of short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts).
• Understand content pacing, sound syncing, and social media trends.
• Value creativity over polish and know how to make content that feels “real.”

Skills We’re Looking For

• CapCut mastery: transitions, overlays, captions, and templates.
• Trend literacy: knowledge of meme formats, trending audios, hooks, and algorithm-friendly storytelling.
• Platform expertise: TikTok/Instagram Reels export settings, hashtags, captions, and SEO optimization.
• Creative instincts: understanding of influencer content, UGC-style product storytelling, and social-first branding.

Additional Information

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 15 per week

Work Location: Remote
