Job Description

The Digital Content Creator is a temporary position responsible for producing high-quality 360° site tours of North Carolina’s historic sites. The role requires experience with 360° camera equipment, particularly the Insta360, and proficiency in 3D Vista software. The ideal candidate is passionate about immersive content creation and possesses a keen eye for detail and aesthetics. This position is located at the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources in Raleigh, NC, with an hourly rate of $27.00 based on education and relevant work experience.

Requirements

Qualified applicants must clear demonstrate their training and experience as per the requirements specified in the posting. The minimum qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, public affairs, media journalism, English, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Two years of experience in communications, public relations, or publicity work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• In-depth knowledge of operating and maintaining 360° camera equipment, particularly the Insta360.
• Expertise in using 3D Vista software for creating immersive site tours.
• Strong skills in advanced photography techniques, virtual tour creation, and post-processing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team while ensuring effective communication with team members and meeting deadlines.
