Job Description

This role at Columbia Credit Union involves designing and developing software applications, performing coding, debugging, testing, and troubleshooting throughout the application development process. The successful candidate will work closely with users to develop software solutions based on their needs, collaborate with the engineering team to create a technology roadmap, and lead the development of technical solutions that align with architectural standards. The position also includes responsibility for implementing automated test cases for various testing types.

Requirements

• Must be available for on-site/in-person trainings.
• 4 years work in website/software developer, engineer, or related position.
• Advanced JavaScript experience including modern front-end frameworks such as Vue, React, and Angular (preference for Vue).
• Experience with SQL databases, preferably SQL Server, including schema design and optimization.
• Experience creating and consuming APIs with a strong knowledge of REST standards.
• Experience working with web application backends, preferably with .NET and C#.
• Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing; able to evaluate and implement testing strategies.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with excellent follow-up abilities.
• Able to lead projects by defining requirements, building project tasks, and conducting capacity planning/time estimates.
• Must be 18 or older to apply.

Additional Information

This remote job is available only in Washington or Oregon state, and requires completion of on-site training before allowing work from home options. The position offers a salary range of $120,000 to $130,000 per year and includes eligibility for a Back Office Incentive. Columbia Credit Union is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
