Job Description

Creative marketing agency seeking a mid-weight web and graphic designer. We are looking for an experienced designer who is both an artist and a technician. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a range of great clients in diverse industries, providing creative web and digital design solutions with support from our in-house marketing, content, and social media teams. As a busy agency, you will be managing multiple projects, including building WordPress websites, working on branding projects, and designing brochures.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• Superior creativity – an artist, not just someone who can use design software
• At least three years’ commercial experience in graphic and web design
• A well-documented portfolio of high-quality commercial work demonstrating design flair
• Experience in branding, including logo creation and brand identity development
• Experience in developing creative marketing and advertising design solutions
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, WordPress, HTML/CSS, and Figma
• Experience in front-end web development and some back-end knowledge
• Experience working with and briefing third-party developers on bespoke CMS websites
• Knowledge of basic UI and UX design principles
• Video editing experience using Premiere Pro
• Knowledge of print design and the ability to prepare artwork for printers
• Strong work ethic and good time management skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and consistently deliver high-quality work on time
• A relevant degree-level qualification
• An eye for detail
• A friendly, flexible attitude and the ability to manage your own work
• A desire to make an effective contribution to a small team

Roles and Responsibilities

• Creating new brand identities and applying them across all printed and digital assets
• Designing for marketing campaigns across all media channels
• Designing and presenting bespoke websites in Figma / Adobe XD
• Building WordPress websites for clients with tailored HTML/CSS
• Working with developers on custom CMS and eCommerce websites
• Managing client relationships
• Contributing to the day-to-day running of a busy agency
• Helping to prepare new business pitches

Additional Information

We offer a salary of £30K+ (depending on experience), auto-enrolment pension, 23 days annual holiday, hybrid working (three days in our Bromley office), a friendly working environment, and invaluable experience in a busy and growing design studio. You must be eligible to work in the UK and live within reasonable commuting distance of Bromley in Southeast London.
