The company collaborates with masters in various fields to create video training courses available for purchase on their website, www.kwoon.co. Additionally, Kwoon produces free short-form content aimed at enriching the online experience for those seeking guidance and knowledge. The company has filmed respected practitioners in areas like Tai Chi, Feng Shui, motivational speaking, and Kung Fu, planning to create 15 more courses by August 2025. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow within the company and learn from top masters.
About the role: The Videographer will be based onsite at Kwoon’s filming facility just south of Bromley, South East London. Responsibilities include solo set-up and operation of a basic 2-camera, sound recording, and lighting setup; directing masters according to a course structure; managing media such as hard drives and flash cards; and closely collaborating with video editors to keep detailed notes during filming for efficient post-production.

Essential skills/characteristics:
- Friendly and welcoming demeanor to help course practitioners relax.
- Curiosity about human thought and wisdom, potentially through education or personal projects.
- Organized work approach, managing filming workflow and recorded media with meticulous attention to detail.
Desirable skills/characteristics/experience:
- Demonstrable experience using studio lights, sound recording, and video equipment.
- Understanding of video and sound/audio editing (experience with Adobe Premiere is a plus).
