Job Description
This position is located at Videorama, Fort Jackson, South Carolina. The incumbent will work independently cleaning and inspecting video recording equipment, following general supervision guidance to support military Basic Combat Training (BCT) and Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation (FMWR) mission requirements. Key duties include filming BCT and military operations events, assisting in production duplication, and ensuring compliance with the organization’s filming guidelines. The job hours, location, and activity may change based on mission requirements.
Requirements
Conditions of Employment:
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card required.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactory completion of employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- DA Form 3433 must be completed and signed prior to entrance on duty.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered or exempt from Selective Service.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 including a Tier 1 background investigation.
Qualifications:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree or higher with a concentration of 24 semester hours in video production, digital media, media production, digital film, or related fields.
- Alternatively, have three years of general work experience with one year at the next lower grade.
- Ability to determine necessary camera and equipment for filming.
- Transport, set up, and operate production equipment including cameras, audio/video recorders, and lighting equipment.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and unload equipment weighing up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to endure long periods of repetitive work in sitting or standing positions and work at a rapid pace when required.
Additional Information
Area Of Consideration: Worldwide, including Military Spouse Preference (MSP) and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP).
