Exit to Entry: Black Expats in Asia & the Middle East
Camera Operator is needed in Seoul, Korea.
I am looking for a mid-level camera operator for a half-day shoot in Seoul for a short documentary film titled โExit to Entry: Black Expats in Asia & the Middle East.โ The film will feature three Black American men who have relocated from the U.S. to work as ESL teachers abroad, exploring themes of race and identity in global contexts influenced by U.S. actions.
Shoot Date: May 2nd or May 3rd. Details can be worked out once we chat.
The ideal candidate should have experience with documentary-style shooting, including interviews, capturing b-roll footage of scenic and iconic locations in Seoul, Korea. Their skills will be crucial for a few hours of shooting as part of this project.

I am a PhD Candidate at the University of Colorado Boulder. I am completely a multimodal disseration that will include the production of a short documentary film that focuses on three Black expats.
