Job Description

Razorfish has an immediate need for a freelance Editorial Content Creator to start ASAP and work on a 6+ month engagement for one of the largest entertainment and media brands. Freelancers may be considered for conversion to full-time based on performance and budget. This role will be embedded on-site with the client, fostering and growing an online community of millions of engaged fans across 9+ social channels including Meta Platforms, TikTok, YouTube, and X.

The Editorial Content Creator will translate programming strategies into creative ideas, develop social content strategies, and collaborate with various teams to elevate new and returning programming across scripted series, unscripted originals, documentaries, and live events. This position will also help support social content development, pitch innovative ideas, monitor trends, assist with copywriting, and manage content production.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, or content strategy, ideally within entertainment, media, or agency settings.
• Strong understanding of social platforms, formats, and fan behavior, specifically TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X.
• Experience in content development, managing creative briefs, or production timelines.
• Familiarity with talent workflows and tailoring content for IP and celebrity-driven campaigns.
• Strategic thinker with a creative perspective and a passion for storytelling and culture.
• Experience with social media publishing and analytics tools such as ListenFirst, Sprout, Sprinklr, Monday.com, Airtable, Asana, etc.

Not Needed, But Nice To Have:

• Prior experience with entertainment brands.
• A knack for writing clever, on-brand social copy.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Comfort working across multiple stakeholders in fast-paced environments.

Compensation for this position ranges from $34.00 to $44.00 hourly, based on skills and experience.
