Job Description

Razorfish has an immediate need for a freelance Editorial Content Creator to start ASAP and work on a 6+ month engagement for one of the largest entertainment and media brands. The role involves being embedded on-site with the client, working alongside a large team managing organic social marketing for the brand across multiple platforms. The Editorial Content Creator will foster and grow a vibrant online community, translate programming strategies into creative ideas, and develop innovative social content strategies to elevate programming.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in social media, brand marketing, or content strategy, ideally within entertainment, media, or agency settings.

• Strong understanding of social platforms, formats, and fan behavior—especially TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X.

• Experience developing or managing content development, creative briefs, or production timelines.

• Familiarity with talent workflows and how to tailor content for IP and celebrity-driven campaigns.

• Strategic thinker with a creative POV, trend fluency, and a passion for fandom, storytelling, and culture.

• Familiarity using social media publishing and analytics tools such as ListenFirst, Sprout, Sprinklr, Monday.com, Airtable, Asana, etc.

• (Not Needed, But Nice To Have): Prior experience with entertainment brands, a knack for writing clever, on-brand social copy, experience with tools like Adobe Creative Suite, and comfort working across multiple stakeholders in fast-paced, campaign-heavy environments.

• Benefits: Freelancers may be eligible for medical and voluntary benefits after 90 consecutive calendar days of employment. Participation in the Publicis 401(k) Plan is available after completing 1,000 work hours in a consecutive 12-month period.

• Compensation Range: $34.00 - $44.00 hourly, determined by skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant.
