Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced videographer/editor for our East Lansing office, with the possibility of occasional work in Detroit and Grand Rapids. This role requires commitment to work onsite and the ability to shoot and edit at least two videos per week. Applicants must provide links to a complete catalog of videos, with a minimum of 30 videos shot and edited in the last year. This position is ideal for those aspiring to excel in the film industry, including Hollywood, News, or Documentaries for Corporate Film.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in videography/editing.
• At least 30 videos filmed and edited in the last year.
• Experience with Adobe Premiere is a must.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 25%).
• Ability to work in-person in East Lansing, MI.
• People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide links to samples of videos filmed and edited.
• Utilize portable Bi-Color studio lights.
• Edit at a professional corporate production level.
• Learn project management from experienced project managers.
• Operate a 4K drone (FAA license covered by the company).

Additional Information

The chosen candidate will have full access to a 1000 square-foot studio and a range of equipment, including Bi-Color LED lights, Mavic Pro Drone, DSLR gimbal, and five mirrorless Canons. The firm is a 12-person marketing agency representing both state and national clients. Staff members can also utilize the studio for personal projects.
