Job Description

Programmers.io is currently looking for a UI UX Designer for a hybrid role in Dallas, TX, requiring 2 days onsite and 3 days remote. The position is a contract role open for C2C only and is available exclusively for US citizens and green card holders.

Requirements

Experience: 4+ years of proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role, with significant experience designing for enterprise-level software and working directly with business clients.

UI/UX Design Systems: Deep expertise in at least one established UI/UX design system (e.g., Material Design, Fluent Design System, Human Interface Guidelines, Atlassian Design System, IBM Carbon, etc.). Candidates should specify in their application which system(s) they possess deep expertise in.

Design Tools: Advanced proficiency in at least two popular UI/UX design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Penpot, Framer, InVision, Marvel). Candidates should specify which tools they are highly proficient in.

User-Centered Design Principles: Comprehensive understanding of user-centered design principles, usability heuristics, accessibility guidelines (WCAG), and interaction design best practices, along with a strong understanding of the specific challenges and opportunities in enterprise software design.
