Job Description

Biondo Creative is seeking an experienced WordPress Web Designer with a deep hands-on understanding of the Divi Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of web design, capable of working independently to create clean, modern websites from scratch without reliance on Figma UI/UX handoffs. This role suits creative professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and understand what makes a great website, bringing clients’ visions to life through custom, engaging sites using Divi’s theme builder, presets, and layout options.

Requirements

The following qualifications are required for the role:

• 3+ years of experience designing custom websites in WordPress
• 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS/JS
• 3+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator
• A proven portfolio of web design work, especially Divi-based builds
• Strong grasp of design fundamentals: spacing, hierarchy, mobile responsiveness, UX best practices
• Comfort designing in a blank-canvas environment—no Figma handoffs required
• Experience using Divi theme builder, global presets, and custom layout packs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and highly responsive
• Experience with testing websites to ensure they are defect-free
• Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time standard business hours

Additional Skills (Preferred)

• Experience with Elementor and other builders like Avada or Gutenberg
• Experience with other platforms like Squarespace and Wix

Compensation and Benefits

Pay is hourly by assignment or flat project fee based on a Scope of Work. The expected pay range is $23.15 - $25.85 per hour. The role offers a flexible schedule with no more than 40 hours expected per week, and is primarily remote.
