Job Description

Biondo Creative is seeking an experienced WordPress Web Designer with a deep hands-on understanding of the Divi Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in all aspects of web design, comfortable navigating ambiguity, and establishing relationships with clients. This role is perfect for creative professionals who can design clean, modern-looking websites from scratch without relying on a Figma UI/UX handoff and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Candidates should have a strong understanding of what makes a great website and be able to build custom, engaging sites using Divi’s theme builder, presets, and layout options.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience designing custom websites in WordPress
  • 3+ years of experience with HTML/CSS/JS
  • 3+ years of experience with Adobe Photoshop/Adobe Illustrator
  • Proven portfolio of web design work, especially Divi-based builds
  • Strong grasp of design fundamentals: spacing, hierarchy, mobile responsiveness, UX best practices
  • Comfort designing in a blank-canvas environment—no Figma handoffs required
  • Experience using Divi theme builder, global presets, and custom layout packs
  • Experience with Elementor and other builders like Avada or Gutenberg is a plus
  • Experience with other platforms like Squarespace and Wix is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, deadline-focused, and highly responsive
  • Experience with testing websites to ensure defect-free experiences
  • Must be available during U.S. Eastern Time standard business hours

Additional Information

Compensation includes hourly pay by assignment or flat project fee based on a Scope of Work: $23.15 - $25.85 per hour, with expected hours not exceeding 40 per week. The position offers a flexible schedule, with work expected Monday to Friday. Applicants must provide a current resume, an email or cover letter detailing skills and desired hourly rate, and live site examples of their work with a description of role and contribution.

Biondo Creative operates as a remote-first company in the United States with potential for as-needed travel associated with client needs. Contractors and employees are expected to operate within Eastern Standard Time Zone business hours.
