Addteq Inc - UI/UX Developer

This is a remote position.

We are looking for a skilled UI/UX Developer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate should have experience with jQuery and ReactJS and be comfortable working across both engineering and business development teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly applications. This role requires strong front-end development skills, an understanding of UI/UX principles, and the ability to translate business requirements into interactive digital experiences.

Responsibilities

UI/UX Development & Implementation:

• Develop and implement responsive web applications using ReactJS and jQuery.
• Ensure a seamless user experience by following best practices in UX/UI design.
• Optimize front-end performance to enhance application speed and responsiveness.

Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:

• Work with engineering teams to integrate UI components with backend services.
• Partner with business development teams to translate customer needs into design solutions.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide creative UI/UX input.

User-Centered Design & Prototyping:

• Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new product features.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
• Maintain design consistency across all company products and platforms.

Code Quality & Maintenance:

• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code for UI components.
• Maintain and update existing UI frameworks and libraries.
• Troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues.

Stay Up-to-Date with Trends & Technologies:

• Keep up with emerging UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices.
• Advocate for modern UI frameworks and design approaches to improve the development process.
• Continuously enhance skills and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements 3+ years of experience in UI/UX development.

Proficiency in ReactJS, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

Experience with responsive design frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind CSS, etc.).

Knowledge of UI/UX design tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch.

Strong understanding of front-end performance optimization.

Experience working in Agile development environments using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Basic understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating UI with backend services.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with UI testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).

Familiarity with TypeScript and modern CSS frameworks. Knowledge of accessibility best practices (WCAG, ARIA).
