Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Freelance Photographer to capture stunning images that tell compelling stories. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling, whether through photography or videography. This role requires versatility and the ability to work in various environments, adapting to different subjects and styles while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in photography with a strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Adobe Premiere for video editing and photo editing software.
• Knowledge of color management principles to ensure accurate image reproduction.
• Experience in videography is a plus, enhancing the ability to offer comprehensive media services.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with clients and team members.
• Background in journalism or sales can be advantageous for understanding client needs and market trends.
• A keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing environments.

Duties

• Capture high-quality photographs for various projects, including events, portraits, products, and editorial assignments.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and deliver images that meet their expectations.
• Edit and retouch photos using Adobe Creative Suite, ensuring optimal color management and post-production quality.
• Stay updated on photography trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and creativity.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Utilize videography skills when required to create engaging video content alongside photography.
• Maintain an organized portfolio showcasing your best work to attract potential clients.

Additional Information

If you are passionate about photography and eager to create impactful visual content, we would love to see your work! Please note you are required to have your own equipment (camera, lighting etc.). You may work your own hours; however, it is a must that you take at least 25 shots of items per hour, with many items requiring 10-15 photos each.

Job Types: Contract, Freelance

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
