Job Description

We are a growing sports videography company seeking a part-time responsible candidate to add to our family. The primary role involves filming sports events within the Metro Detroit area, focusing on capturing footage for coaching and review purposes.

Requirements

Most games are on Saturdays and Sundays. You must be available during these times to be considered for this position.

YOU MUST HAVE PREVIOUS SPORTS FILM EXPERIENCE.

Equipment required:

• Camera that films in 1080p or higher (must own and have access to the camera)
• 2 SD Cards Minimum
• Tripod
• Backup battery and charger
• Cell phone with GPS
• Reliable transportation for traveling to job locations

Skills:

• Ability to take direction and feedback positively to grow professionally
• Familiarity with Google Drive and Dropbox (professional account required)
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for equipment malfunctions
• Experience with filming action sports preferred; tight attentive framing needed
• Adaptability to last-minute scheduling or location changes
• Ability to edit footage is preferred but not required

The filming locations are within the Metro Detroit area. If you are located outside Michigan, please do not apply. We are not interested in hiring someone who owns their own company; only freelance independent contractors will be considered.

The typical schedule for fall sports ranges from Wednesday to Sunday, with busy dates generally falling on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
