Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Marketing and Digital Media Assistant to join our team! This freelance position requires strong computer input skills working in two software programs: focusing on subscriptions, and also updating content from our magazine to our website. Organization skills is of utmost importance in the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently on a monthly basis with a detailed schedule. Duties include marketing efforts focusing on subscriptions, emailing renewal pitches, focusing on efforts to increase subscriptions to our magazine, and also using our content from the magazine to create our monthly digital edition and update content on our website. Must be self-motivated and action-oriented since this is a work-from-home position. Familiarity with coastal Delaware is ideal.
Responsibilities
- Promote subscription memberships
- Handle subscription renewals
- Coordinate with printing company to send subscriber data file
- Assist with marketing efforts to increase subscription memberships
- Create monthly digital edition from PDF, adding hyperlinks
- Update website with magazine content
- Follow several schedules to complete tasks effectively
Requirements
- Computer literacy is essential
- PC or Mac is fine, (learning software is web-based)
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail is crucial
