Job Description
Underdog Sports Basketball Training LLC is seeking a creative and motivated Videographer & Editor to capture and craft high-impact content that reflects the energy, culture, and mission of our basketball skills development program. The Videographer & Editor will film training sessions, camps, events, and social content, and edit that footage into dynamic videos optimized for social media, YouTube, and promotional use.
Key Responsibilities
- Film training sessions, workouts, events, and interviews on-site (mostly evenings and weekends)
- Edit raw footage into engaging short-form (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long-form videos (YouTube, website content)
- Deliver high-quality, consistent visuals aligned with Underdog’s brand and tone
- Add music, graphics, captions, and effects as needed for social media impact
- Organize and archive footage for future use
- Collaborate with the founder and marketing team to meet content goals and deadlines
- Occasionally assist with photography, thumbnail design, or graphic overlays
Requirements
- Proven experience in videography and video editing (portfolio or samples required)
- Proficient in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)
- Strong understanding of filming techniques, lighting, and composition
- Ability to create sports-centric content that captures motion, energy, and emotion
- Experience with social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook)
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
- Creative, self-motivated, and open to feedback
Preferred Qualifications
- Background or interest in basketball, sports training, or athletic media
- Basic graphic design or motion graphics skills
- Own camera equipment (optional but a plus)
Additional Information
Job Types: Part-time, Freelance
Pay: $800.00 per month
Expected hours: 12 – 20 per week
