Job Description

The Boca Black Box is on the lookout for a talented and dedicated sound technician to join our team! As a premier venue hosting tribute bands, stand-up comedy and much more, we’re seeking someone who is passionate about live performances and ready to help create unforgettable experiences.

Position: Part-Time Sound Technician

Schedule: 2-3 nights a week, with occasional Sunday daytime shifts

Location: Boca Raton, FL

Pay: Flexible, depending on experience, ranging from $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate sound and lighting equipment for various events
• Collaborate with performers to achieve optimal sound quality
• Troubleshoot technical issues during shows
• Maintain equipment and ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in sound and lighting, especially in live performance settings
• Familiarity with sound mixing consoles, microphones, and lighting systems
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• A passion for music and live entertainment
