Moscow confidential short film

Film Director is needed in The Hague, Netherlands.

We are producing a 10–15 minute cinematic short film as a visual pitch for ‘Moscow Confidential’, a high-stakes crime-thriller TV series concept. The short film will serve as a showcase for the tone, style, and emotional impact of the proposed five-season, 63-episode series to attract international media partners, producers, and streaming platforms. We are looking for a film director experienced in delivering complex, emotionally engaging productions. The project will be shot on location in The Hague, Netherlands, and requires someone who can work closely with our company, Sterling Liam Media. The preferred style draws inspiration from shows like The Wire, Mr. Robot, Westworld (S1), Chernobyl, Andor, Black Mirror, and The Americans but with a unique, intellectually charged and emotionally grounded approach.

Chernobyl = Real-world horror, tension but MC has the same realism but adds high-concept elements

Andor = Slow burn resistance and moral ambiguity but MC has more intellectual punch and long-arc complexity

Black Mirror. = Tech cautionary tales but MC is a serialised epic, not an anthology

The Americans. = Spy craft and dual identity but MC includes this but amplifies it across society
