Magazine production

Production Designer is needed in Annapolis, United States.

We are looking for a production expert to support the design and layout of two magazines at the U.S. Naval Institute. You will work with InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Illustrator in a fast-paced environment, producing one monthly and one bi-monthly magazine. The position involves both full-time and part-time weeks depending on the production cycle, and you will be required on-site in Annapolis, Maryland for part of the project. Strong knowledge and experience in magazine production and editorial layouts using set templates and stylesheets are essential. You will report directly to the Design Director and must have an eye for detail and expert knowledge of the required applications.

Budget range:
$10,000 – 20,000 USD

I’m the Design Director and this position would report directly to me. We are a small staff and looking for someoe who has good working knowledge of all applications mentioned. I am looking for someone with experiance in magazine prodction, ie: expert knowledge in InDesign, understand the importance of details
