Game Designer - College Football
Please note: This role requires on-site (hybrid) work from our Orlando studio. This is a temporary, 12-month position.
This role requires extensive knowledge of college football and/or deep familiarity with the College Football video game franchise.

As a Game Designer, you will work directly on the mobile team responsible for writing and product owning feature designs for upcoming releases. You will oversee large features across all aspects of our games’ live service elements.
Responsibilities
- Oversee design vision and implementation, collaborating directly with designers, producers, programmers, artists, and other cross-functional members of game development teams.
- Lead the creation of features and programs to engage users and meet KPI goals.
- Develop the vision and lead a set of features or a large subsection of the game or of the live service.
- Work with PMs on qualitative and quantitative metrics to support and guide feature direction.
- Utilize data insights, user research, and design intuition to design features that grow the live services of our games.
- Support the creative vision set by the Creative Director and Product Managers.
- Establish a depth of knowledge across existing systems, overseeing the entire suite of live service features.
- Determine experience goals for designs and tune features to meet those goals.
- Participate actively in the development team using inclusive collaborative frameworks to establish goals and narratives for releases.
- Collaborate with all team disciplines to guide a project from initial design to final production.
- Become an expert on the game and community, making informed design choices based on player feedback and past games.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of game design experience on a video game development team, or equivalent knowledge.
- At least 2 years of experience in an active live service game.
- Understanding of Live Service games and their interconnected systems.
- Excellent creative, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Ability to write and maintain detailed design documentation.
- In-depth understanding of UI/UX related to system design.
- Ability to create designer wireframes and mocks to communicate designs effectively.
- Experience designing features to target Engagement, Retention, or Monetization goals.
- Experience with sports games as a designer or passionate player.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge or passion for College Football.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- Expertise with MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Google Docs, Google Sheets, Miro, Visio, JIRA, and online collaboration tools like Confluence.
