Job Description

SURF Capital is looking for a skilled web designer to redesign our website with a focus on real estate impact. This is a limited-page build (4–6 pages) on Webflow or WordPress. We want a modern, mobile-first site that’s easy to navigate, strong on visual imagery, and supported by clear, investor-ready copy. The site should use a simple Projects CMS for seamless updates. Key pages include Home, About, Strategy/Impact, Projects, Team, and Contact. Responsibilities include light copywriting, basic SEO, and GA4 integration. We’re aiming for a quick turnaround. Compensation is negotiable—hourly or fixed price. Please share 2–3 relevant samples and your estimated timeline.

Requirements

  • Portfolio of modern, image-led websites (4–6 page builds).
  • Proficiency in Webflow or WordPress and CMS setup for Projects.
  • Strong UI/UX basics: site map, wireframes, mobile-first, clean typography.
  • Ability to polish short copy for an investor audience.
  • Basic SEO knowledge (titles/meta, semantic HTML) and GA4 setup.
  • Performance mindset (fast load, image optimization) and accessibility awareness.
  • Reliable communication and comfort working on hourly or fixed price.

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Plan a simple site map (4–6 pages) and clean, mobile-first UI for SURF Capital.
  • Create an image-led, visually polished design aligned to our brand.
  • Write/refresh short, investor-ready copy that communicates our real-estate impact.
  • Build in Webflow or WordPress with a self-serve Projects CMS (templates, filters).
  • Add an Impact section (clear KPIs/metrics) to support marketing narrative.
  • Set up basics: SEO, GA4, forms (with spam protection), and accessibility best practices.
  • Optimize performance (fast load, image compression) and minimize plugin bloat.
  • Migrate existing content/assets and ensure consistent styling.
  • Provide admin handoff: brief Loom walkthrough + simple docs so the site “runs on its own.”
  • QA and launch support; configure routine backups/security for low maintenance.
