Job Description

Seeking visual creatives with strong Photoshop expertise and professional photography experience to support innovative AI research projects. This role combines creative image generation, photo editing, and structured content annotation—a unique opportunity to apply your visual skills in a research-driven context. Ideal candidates are independent, detail-oriented, and comfortable balancing technical precision with creative exploration.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and create imaginative visual scenarios using Adobe Photoshop
• Capture and deliver original, high-resolution photographs aligned with project guidelines
• Edit and refine images for consistency in lighting, composition, and framing
• Write concise descriptions and annotations for each visual submission
• Tag and organize images using standardized formats
• Follow detailed formatting, naming, and submission workflows
• Iterate on feedback and adapt to evolving creative direction

Ideal Qualifications:

• Proven track record in both professional photography (commercial, editorial, or creative) and digital editing
• Expert proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and image composition techniques
• Strong written communication skills for documenting visual content
• Ability to creatively interpret flexible briefs while following structured workflows
• Self-starter, comfortable working independently and asynchronously
• Preferred: Recent project experience in tech, fashion, lifestyle, or experimental visual work

Additional Information

• Remote and asynchronous — work on your own time
• Expected commitment: ~20 hours/week, with flexibility up to 40 hours/week
• Short-term projects with potential for extension based on performance

Compensation & Contract Terms

• $45/hour (or ~$4 per completed task; average task ~5 minutes)
• Paid weekly via Stripe Connect
• Independent contractor role
