AI Engineer is needed in Parma, Italy.

We are developing an interactive companion app called DIMENVERSE, which features unique AI-powered characters. Users interact with characters living in their own apartments, where each character responds to their environment and can engage in natural, AI-driven conversations. The app combines creativity, fun, and a personalized experience, offering a blend of pixel-art environments with detailed character portraits similar to those in games like Undertale, Doki Doki Literature Club, and Stardew Valley. I am seeking a motivated AI Engineer experienced in chat-based AI integration, OpenAI API or similar, and linking AI models to interactive characters in apps or games. As a student and creative developer based in Parma, Italy, I want to collaborate with talented people who are excited to build something innovative. This is a personal project currently in the planning and research stage, with milestones ranging from concept and AI setup to a playable demo and eventual beta release. While there is no upfront budget, the opportunity includes experience, portfolio building, and the potential for future paid roles and leadership positions if the app succeeds.
