I am seeking a highly skilled Director of Photography for a personal project filmed in New York, titled ‘Birth of Paradise.’ The ideal collaborator is passionate about both narrative and documentary filmmaking, with a strong poetic eye and excellent technical skills, especially with handheld camera work. I value hands-on creative collaboration and deep engagement during pre-production, aiming to explore various ways to approach each shot together. Patience, curiosity, openness, and strong visual storytelling instincts are essential. A genuine love for world cinema and intention-driven work is highly appreciated. The project will run for more than a week and requires presence in New York for the entire duration. Please provide a reel or samples of both narrative and documentary work, share a few lines on your interest in cinematography, and mention films or filmmakers that have shaped your visual style.
