Role Overview

We are seeking a Video & Digital Marketing Specialist with strong skills in video editing, digital content creation, and SEO. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing projects from research and scriptwriting to editing and publishing polished content.

Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality video content for YouTube, social media, and other platforms using tools like Opus, CapCut, Descript, Riverside (or similar).
• Design video thumbnails and social graphics using Canva, Illustrator, or Photoshop.
• Conduct topic research to identify trending, high-impact content ideas.
• Collaborate on scriptwriting for educational, advocacy, and promotional videos.
• Optimize videos with SEO best practices for YouTube and search engines.
• Repurpose long-form content into shorts, clips, and reels.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging content trends, platform algorithms, and marketing tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in video editing and content creation (portfolio required).
• Strong skills with editing software (Opus, CapCut, Descript, Riverside, Adobe Suite, or equivalent).
• Graphic design ability for thumbnails, titles, and promotional content.
• Solid understanding of SEO for video and content marketing.
• Experience with scriptwriting and research for video storytelling.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently.

Preferred

• Background in marketing, journalism, or advocacy.
• Familiarity with veteran, military, or legal topics (not required but a plus).
• Knowledge of social media ad campaigns and analytics.
