No title, it’s about my experience living in Japan. A beautiful memory with detail of stunning momen...

I am looking for a talented animator with strong skills in 2D animation and background art, particularly with Japanese settings. My project is a mini-series of around 8 short episodes, capturing my family’s everyday experiences and beautiful memories living in Japan. I hope to translate the feeling and atmosphere of places like our old neighbourhood, rivers, sakura trees, and peaceful daily life through detailed and charming animation. The art should feel relatable, featuring both Black people and Japanese people, with a style inspired by anime but personal and authentic. Slow, detailed animation is important to create a sense of appreciation and calm, and the visuals should evoke the uniqueness and warmth of our experiences. If you can help bring these moments to life—possibly accompanied by urban lofi, rhythm and blues, or hip hop music—I would love to collaborate to make this project special and memorable for sharing on YouTube. I want someone to handle everything remotely; the delivery is needed as soon as possible.

Budget range:
Medium project ($1,500 – 3,000 USD)

Examples:
Preferred style maybe typical anime artwork. Or detailed and slow animation to give a sense of peace and appreciation of beauty. Charming also because we are black people I want it to still feel relatable outside of anime world. I’d add in urban lofi rhythm blues music hip hop in the background that suits my perspective. The most important is the backgrounds and animation can bring a feeling.
