Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented B-Roll Content Creator/Videographer to support our R&D team by capturing high-quality behind-the-scenes cooking footage at our headquarters. This role is essential for showcasing the preparation process behind menu drops and turning it into compelling visual content for social media platforms.

Responsibilities

• Film high-quality B-roll of the entire cooking process from beginning to end on selected dishes during R&D prep days, ensuring visually compelling shots that align with our brand aesthetic.
• Plan and frame each shot intentionally, using strong lighting, clean angles, and a sharp eye for detail to highlight ingredients, textures, and chef techniques.
• Operate your own professional equipment, including camera, tripod, and lighting, ensuring reliable performance in an indoor kitchen environment.
• Organize and upload raw footage 5-7 days before each menu launch, using a structured folder system on Google Drive (by drop and by individual menu item).
• Ensure editor-ready files by avoiding blurry shots, labeling footage clearly, and separating out any unusable material for efficient downstream editing.
• Collaborate with chefs and content teams to identify specific dishes, understand key moments or dishes that should be visually emphasized in each R&D cycle.
• Navigate a fast-paced, live kitchen environment with minimal disruption. Capture authentic, unscripted footage while maintaining respect for workflow and safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, brand-safe visual environment, avoiding clutter or distracting background elements, and ensuring footage is polished and professional.

Requirements

• Proven experience filming food, B-roll, or lifestyle content for social media, especially Instagram Reels or TikTok.
• Strong aesthetic sense and attention to detail, with an understanding of framing, lighting, and cleanliness in shots.
• Must bring your own equipment (e.g., camera, tripod, lighting setup). Lighting is especially critical.
• Ability to work independently on-site with minimal direction.
• Reliable, highly organized, and able to meet tight timelines for file upload and organization.
• Experience working with food brands, chefs, or kitchens.
