Job Description
We are an online-only company that sells pre-owned luxury apparel of the highest distinction. We are in need of a junior photographer to fill a part-time photographer’s role. The ideal candidate will have education and/or experience shooting in a studio environment. This is a part-time job, no more than four or five hours per week until the backlog is reduced considerably, and then four to five hours every other week. The hours are very flexible, making it a good opportunity for a freelancer to generate a little extra revenue or a photography student passionate about photography and designer clothes. If you are able to edit digital photographs in Photoshop or Lightroom, with emphasis on composition and color correction, then the hours for this role could increase considerably. The job is located in Richardson, TX. Camera equipment can be provided.
Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality digital photographs of apparel on mannequins in a studio environment.
- Dress/undress mannequins, usually with assistance, and clip apparel to fit mannequin.
- Ensure that apparel is adjusted as needed so it will be presented perfectly from every angle.
- Assist with other tasks in the studio related to the core responsibilities of the job.
Qualifications
- Education and/or experience in online catalog photography with a portfolio or other means to demonstrate your work.
- A willingness to take responsibility for solving problems related to shooting in the studio.
- Experience shooting full-length subjects in a studio environment, solving studio lighting issues, is a big plus.
- To expand the role and hours, proficiency with editing digital photos in Photoshop and/or Lightroom, especially color correction.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
