Job Description

BackBlockstudioz is seeking a professional audio engineer who can work independently with minimal supervision. The company offers a business model that provides engineers with the necessary resources and opportunities to build their brand and showcase their talent. It is looking for leaders and individual thinkers.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as a professional audio engineer and mixer
• At least 3 years of experience with Pro Tools; certification is a plus
• Understanding and efficiency in Logic Pro
• Music/beat production experience is a plus
• Great people skills and communication abilities
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Flexibility in schedule and the ability to multitask
• Patience and understanding when assisting clients with varying levels of technical knowledge
• Active presence on social media, particularly Instagram
• Ability to provide own clients

Roles and Responsibilities

• Record client sessions to their liking
• Record, mix, and master a variety of music styles at a professional level
• Maintain and manage audio files properly
• Clean and maintain the studio after every session
