Photographer needed in Saudi Arabia to fully manage education sector project
Photographer is needed in Saudi Arabia.
We are seeking an English-speaking freelance photographer based in Saudi Arabia to deliver a portfolio of stock photos suitable for the education sector. We will be available to provide a full brief and answer questions, but our team is UK based and cannot attend in person.
Therefore the photographer will be responsible for the full organisation and management of the project including finding models, securing locations and communicating with all relevant parties to complete the photo shoots.
They will need to ensure we have model releases signed for commercial use for everyone featured in the images. They should also be able to act as our cultural guide, making sure that the composition of the images, (models, clothing, props, visible writing, settings etc.) are an authentic and appropriate representation of Saudi Arabia today.
The project
We want to gather a large catalogue of stock photos, exclusively for our use, which provide an authentic view of education and assessment in Saudi Arabia.
The location
We need you to find a school to use as a location as we need shots including a classroom, a computer room, an exam hall, and possibly other areas such as a library or hallway.
The models
You will be required to find models with the following profiles:
- Students at an early level of education (approx. ages 9-11)
- Students at the secondary level (approx. ages 14-16)
- Models who are representative of teachers.
The images
The pictures should be positive in tone, representing a modern, optimistic learning environment. The models should be happy and engaged with their activities, with natural expressions. We don’t want them to be looking at the camera or showing exaggerated emotions.
We would like the models to be captured engaging in a range of education and assessment related activities. We will provide a full list but some examples would be:
- Students sitting a high-stakes exam (age 16)
- Students sitting tests (age 11)
- Students (age 16) opening their exam results
- A teacher guiding a student through a book
- Students working at computers
- Students listening in a classroom
Timeline
We would like to complete the project before the end of October 2025, but can be flexible on this to secure the right images.
Budget
We will consider all quotes and select the one which is best able to demonstrate that they can meet the above brief. Please share as much of a cost breakdown as possible when sending an estimate to us.
